About Us



Thelron Pleas is the Executive Program Director for the Towering Your Success Program and PLEAS, LLC, which provides performing arts management, Information Technology, and educational consulting services in the middle Georgia area. Mr. Pleas serves as a School Improvement and Student Achievement Innovation consultant with the Bibb County School District where he specializes in school improvement, school turnaround, college and career readiness, and student leadership development. Mr. Pleas is the Founder and Artistic Director of Towering the Arts, Inc. 501(c)(3), which is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing quality theatre opportunities for students, local artists, and community stakeholders in the Middle Georgia area. At the age of 15, Mr. Pleas began writing, directing, and producing plays. His first two productions were performed at his church and he later moved his performances to the Douglass Theatre. Mr. Pleas has directed and produced 10 theatrical productions in Macon (Douglass Theatre) and Atlanta (Morehouse College) collectively.


Mr. Pleas, a 2011 Gates Millennium Scholar, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Drama, with a curricular emphasis in Production Management from Morehouse College and his Master of Education degree in Educational Administration and Policy, with a curricular emphasis in Educational Law from the University of Georgia. Mr. Pleas is currently pursuing his Education Specialist degree in Educational Psychology: Gifted and Creative Education from the University of Georgia. Mr. Pleas has been a teacher, educational leader, entrepreneur, non-profit leader and founder, scholar, and community servant. Mr. Pleas is humbled to serve the Middle Georgia community, and he looks forward to the continued success.
